Hello, and welcome to my website! I’m REALTOR® Joan “Jody” G. Hooper, and I’m a local real estate specialist in Las Cruces, New Mexico. As a broker for The Hooper Power Team Real Estate, LLC, I assist buyers and sellers of residential real estate in and around the area.

I’m a native New Mexican, born in Carlsbad to farmers and ranchers, and graduated from NMSU, Eastern New Mexico University, and Texas Tech.

I have over 32 years in the real estate industry and am also a licensed appraiser. Appraising, listing, showing, selling, decorating, flipping, owning, renting – I love everything about real estate! The only thing I love more is people. And I love working long hours to do whatever it takes to get the job done efficiently, effectively, and on time to help people realize their real estate dreams and goals.

I retired from my state government job as the State Personnel Director on the governor’s cabinet and now work full-time with homes, farms, ranches, rentals, and land.
